LISA & KAYLA WIN GOLD IN 1ST WORLD CUP FOR 2015 AT PORTUGAL

Lisa CARRINGTON Ngati Porou, Te Aitanga-a-Mahaki the current Olympic & World Champion
Took out Gold in the K1 200m and the K1 500m events.
Kayla IMRIE Te Whakatohea won Gold in the K4 500m with team mates: Jaimee Lovett, Aimee Fisher, and Caitlin Ryan.
Kayla was a recipient of the Skills Active Maori Sports Awards Scholarship in 2011

They both compete at the 2nd World Cup event in Germany from 22-24 May then on to the World Championships in Italy from 19-23 August.
