Dan PRYOR Ngati Awa, Ngati Rangitihi, Ngai Tuhoe gained selection for NZ Maori All Blacks to play Japan.
His Koro was the legend Albie Pryor from Te Teko, who first played for the Maori in 1952 through to the 60’s but in controversial circumstances was not picked for the All Blacks in 1956 against the Springboks.
Lets hope that Dan can have a equally long career in Maori Rugby and just maybe gain selection for the AB’s that his Koro so deserved.
