An Officer of the NZ Order of Merit, Ruben represented Otara Scorpians, Otahuhu Leopards, Junior Kiwis, NZ Maori, Auckland, Canberra Raiders (225 matches) NZ Warriors (87 matches) Samoa (1 match) NZ Kiwis (55 tests, 18 as Captain) former NZRL High Performance manager, 2008-2010 Kiwi assistant trainer.
Inductee to the Otara Hall of Fame, NZ Sports Hall of Fame and this year Inducted to the NRL Hall of Fame.
Currently Ruben is and assistant strength & conditioning trainer with the NZ Warriors. Also Co owner of Wiki Workz Fitness Gym in Otara with wife Santa Wiki.
